Volunteer Opportunities
Our Mid-Michigan ASTD Chapter’s success mirrors your commitment.
If you are a Mid-Michigan ASTD Chapter member who wants to help ensure the availability of important professional resources, contacts, convenience, support, and education provided by a local ASTD chapter, please step forward!
For the past several years, a handful of local ASTD leaders and members have worked hard to build your Mid-Michigan Chapter. Now YOU have the opportunity to step forward to help as a board member, committee chair, or committee member. In the past year, the Mid-Michigan Chapter has gained momentum and made several improvements to the chapter, including updating resources, the website, and increasing educational program and networking offerings.
In order to take advantage of these services we need your help. The more volunteers we can enlist, the better, the stronger, and the more diverse the Mid-Michigan ASTD Chapter will become.
As an incentive to attract volunteers, and a recognition and support of the time such a commitment represents, we offer committee members a 25% discount and committee chairs a 50% discount off registration when attending chapter programs.
Here are the committees we are in the process of forming, and a potential list of some of the volunteer opportunities available within each committee’s responsibilities:
