You have two ways to join the local chapter (please note that the cost of joining your local chapter is separate from the cost of joining National ASTD):

Online
There are two ways to join online:
- Add your local chapter membership when you register for national membership
- Register for local chapter membership only
Corporate Membership Special
Buy four memberships for your company and get the fifth free! Organizations own a membership for four or more participating members. Four memberships entitle the company a fifth membership for free and each individual member at $50 each. The memberships are transferable from one individual to another. Members leaving the company may renew their membership as an individual.
After Joining
You can get involved by:
- Attending scheduled ASTD events
- Participating in professional development workshops — both national and local
- Volunteering for committees in programs, membership, public relations, elections, or new developing committees
- Developing your leadership and management skills by serving on your Mid Michigan Chapter board of directors
- Enhancing your leadership and speaking skills by volunteering to present at local chapter events and national conferences
- Mentoring a new performance professional by sharing your expertise
- Hosting an event at your workplace
