A professional organization dedicated to developing the networks and individuals involved in workplace learning and performance.

Chapter Goals

  • Encourage participation in ASTD at the local chapter level by individuals or organizations concerned with workplace learning and performance, organizational development, and adult learning
  • Provide workplace learning and performance and leadership development opportunities
  • Provide information and resources, learning opportunities, and expertise on workplace learning and performance, organizational development, and adult learning
  • Help local organizations and the larger working community understand workplace learning and performance, organizational development, and adult learning
  • Encourage, sponsor or conduct appropriate study and research in the field
  • Encourage active participation and service by chapter members, including students, in chapter activities, learning offerings, and volunteer/service opportunities
  • Motivate individuals toward achieving their personal and professional goals
  • Provide leadership in the fields of human resource development, workplace learning and performance, organizational development, and adult learning
