Writing Job Aids and Learning Aids
Today’s workplace is a rapidly changing environment. Workers must acquire new skills and knowledge almost daily. An alternative to the time and costs involved in developing traditional training is to create and implement job aids. During her tenure at Consumers Energy, Kathleen Zeleznock has both developed job aids and conducted job aid workshops for fellow employees. In this session she will share the basics of job aid development and take a look at how technology has changed the face of job aids.
The following topics will be presented:
- Job Aid Formats
- Creating Job Aids
- Implementing Job Aids
- Electronic Performance Support
Kathleen is a Sr. Performance Analyst with Consumers Energy and has been a trainer with Consumers for the past 20 years. She is certified to conduct Expert OJT Workshop / Jeffery Nelson and Associates and Job Aids Workshop / Joe Harless Performance Guild.
